Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using Muhasib ("the app", "we", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how the app handles information.
The service
Muhasib is an offline-first personal and business finance tracker: wallets, transactions, budgets, reminders, business accounts, payables and receivables, invoices, receipts, and reports. All of it runs locally on your device — there's no Muhasib account, no sign-in, and no server holding your financial records.
A free 7-day trial unlocks every feature with no payment method required. After the trial, some features require Muhasib Pro to continue using.
Muhasib Pro
Muhasib Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase:

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel anytime from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — Muhasib has no separate cancellation flow, since Apple and Google manage the subscription itself.
Billing & refunds
All payments are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play — Muhasib never receives or stores your card details. Pricing is shown in your local currency at checkout and may include applicable taxes.
Refunds are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own refund policies. Muhasib has no ability to issue refunds directly — please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for billing disputes.
Your content & data
Everything you enter into Muhasib — transactions, business records, invoices, notes, receipt photos, your business profile — belongs to you. It's stored locally on your device, and you're responsible for backing it up (for example, through your device's own backup system) since Muhasib doesn't operate a server to recover it from if your device is lost, damaged, or reset.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app beyond what's permitted by law
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose, including tax evasion or fraudulent recordkeeping
- Attempt to circumvent Muhasib Pro's licensing or paywall
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app
Not financial, tax, or legal advice
Muhasib is a recordkeeping and planning tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and its reports and calculations should not be treated as a substitute for professional advice. You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for any decisions made using it — including business invoices, tax filings, or legal proceedings referenced in the app's court/dispute tracking features.
No warranty
Muhasib is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that calculations will always be accurate — always verify important figures independently.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muhasib and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including lost data, lost profits, or financial decisions made using information from the app. Because your data lives only on your device, we strongly recommend keeping your own backups.
Termination
You can stop using Muhasib at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or discontinue the app or Muhasib Pro at our discretion, though we'll aim to give reasonable notice for any change that affects paying subscribers.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Muhasib after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
